Jours Redoutables / Days Of Awe is referring to a period considered as conducive to repentance, the moment when humanity seems increasingly close to some form of final judgment. As a starting point, a small pocketbook: Frédéric D. Oberland's sensual and grain-textured analogue photographs meet the words of the French writer Christophe Manon. Ephemeral joys, pleasures, defeats, embraces and landscapes are revealed like mysterious epiphanies, contrasted and luminous, celebrating fraternity. Jours Redoutables / Days Of Awe is an invitation to an inner journey - a visual life-loving memento mori.
